The process of redeveloping the 17 acre Rhodia site (‘the Site’) is creating a new paradigm for redevelopment in West Louisville. One that is led by the residents, uses the power of community to unlock the costly decisions that have set the area back, all while building community ownership and wealth in the short and long-term. YARD & Co. provided design services which lay out an activation strategy for the vacant site, while outling a materials budget for the community to utilize as they implement the plan going forward.
