University City, Missouri is home to Washington University and the Delmar Loop, and is just west of the City of St. Louis. The City’s Third Ward commissioned YARD to develop a resident-led Revitalization Plan focused on immersive community engagement led by a paid resident ambassador team, racial equity, housing, public space, retail and streets. The project will focus on recommendations for how to use funds from a community benefits agreement created by the nearby Market at Olive commercial development project. Our partners at Collabo led the engagement and housing efforts for the project.
